Evolutionary Psychology is great because it helps explain all the behaviors and attributes that humans and other animals perform and possess. For instance, why are we more scared of snakes than driving to work when driving to work is statistically over 1000 times more dangerous than a snake? Because are minds evolved to be afraid of snakes because those who weren't scared of snakes died. Now, we have to drive in cars, but yet are minds are only a few generations old in terms of the existence of cars, so we haven't gotten use to being scared of them yet and actually may never be due to the mere nature that we depend on them daily.
Guidos are great to study in terms of evolutionary psychology because they haven't evolved in a lot of ways that other types of humans have. For example, our male ancestors use to court females by showing signs of strength like picking up a big rock, or fighting another male. This made sense back then because physically strength was essential to survival. However, physical strength is on the bottom of the totem pole of importance for surviving in today's environment. To be at the top of the class you need to be insanely smart.
So, why do Guidos juice up and fight all the time? Because they haven't evolved into this new age world like the rest of us intellectual human beings have. No, I am not putting them down or saying anything is wrong with that. I am just saying that it's no longer the strongest that survive, but rather the smartest that survive.
Good luck all you juice heads out there!
